Having spent a year consolidating their position within the New Zealand market and building a successful relationship with the New Zealand Navy, VT Fitzroy approached The People Group in search of solutions to consolidate leadership and begin the move towards realising high performance at organisational and team levels.
To address key team and personal development areas identified through leadership 360-degree reviews, we decided to pursue a combination of business coaching and leadership development training.
The Leadership development programme was aimed at breaking down silos, developing communication, team unity and relationships, in addition to building leadership capacity. The individual coaching was aimed at addressing each leader's development needs as identified in their 360-degree assessment.
VT Fitzroy's achieved an increased recognition of individual leadership styles and the development of abilities which now allows leaders to manage and modify their styles to maximise their effectiveness. Due to the programme's effectiveness the Organisation has re engaged The People Group to complete comprehensive Supervisory Training.
